Data we collect
We collect the data you provide directly (first name, last name, billing and shipping address, email, phone, order details) when you create an account, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter or contact us. Payment data is handled by the payment service providers: we do not store your card number. While you browse, technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) and the cookies described in the Cookie Policy are also processed.
Purposes and legal basis
We process data to: perform the sales contract and deliveries (art. 6.1.b GDPR); comply with tax, accounting and legal obligations (art. 6.1.c); answer your requests (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f); send commercial communications and newsletters only with your consent (art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time; ensure site security and prevent fraud (art. 6.1.f).
Retention and security
Data is kept for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and for legal obligations (for example 10 years for tax and accounting data). Marketing data is kept until consent is withdrawn. We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures, including SSL encrypted connections.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be shared with couriers and carriers, payment service providers, hosting and IT support providers, tax and accounting advisors, appointed as data processors where required. Data is neither disclosed nor sold to third parties. Where some providers are located outside the European Economic Area, transfers take place with the safeguards required by the GDPR (for example standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing, by writing to info@ceramichedivietri.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
